"It has itself become, like the shipwreck, a cultural monument, only accreting value, not losing significance, as time goes by."
London Evening Standard

We all know the story of the Titanic, but James Cameron's epic reconstruction starts 84 years later, with 100-year-old Rose DeWitt Bukate (Winslet) telling the story through her eyes. We follow Rose as she boards the doomed ship with her fellow upper-class passengers, her mother and fiancé. Meanwhile, a drifter and artist by the name of Jack Dawson (DiCaprio) and his best friend Fabrizio De Rossi win third-class tickets in a card game and scramble to board. The film follows Rose's retelling as she explains the whole story, intertwined with an epic love story, from departure until the death of Titanic on its first and last voyage April 15th, 1912, at 2:20 in the morning.
