Getting Here

WESTPAC OPENAIR is located at Fleet Steps on Mrs Macquaries Point in the Royal Botanic Garden and Domain. Access to the event is via Mrs Macquaries Road (directly opposite Boy Charlton Pool on the Point), or on foot via the Botanic Gardens (but please note that the Botanic Garden’s gates are locked at sunset, so after this time the only access and egress is via Mrs Macquaries Road).

You can enter our event via Mrs Macquaries Road, continuing past the Art Gallery towards Fleet Steps. Prior to 8pm you can also walk to the event via the Royal Botanic Garden, following the shoreline from Sydney Opera House to the Yurong Gate.

All gates to the Royal Botanic Garden strictly close at 8pm. You cannot enter or exit the event via the Garden after this time. The quickest route back to the city following the film is via Mrs Macquaries Rd.

Metered Parking
There are more than 200, 24hr metered parking spaces on Mrs Macquaries Road, charged at the following rates:

Mon – Sun | 8am to 8pm $9.00/hr
Mon – Sun | 8pm to 8am $5.00/hr

If you download the Park'N'Pay App there is an option to pay upfront, or pay as you park. 

Car Park
The closest car park is the Domain Car Park, an 8-10 minute walk to & from our event site. You can pre-book and save, otherwise flat-fee prices are below:

Mon – Fri | Entry after 5pm - Exit before 6am the following morning $10.00
Sat – Sun | All Day Rate $12.00

The closest train stations are Martin Place and St James. The closest bus stops are on Macquarie Street, and on Phillip Street.

For holders of Disability Parking Permits, permits can be used anywhere along Mrs Macquaries Rd and designated parking bays are also provided near The Royal Botanic Garden Woolloomooloo Gate and outside the Art Gallery of NSW.

Wheelchair access is available inside our venue including reserved seating in the front half of the cinema, all hospitality areas, and toilet facilities (located just inside the entrance). 

Customers with accessible seating requirements can book tickets online. Please then contact us at tickets@summertix.com.au with your order number, so we can ensure you’re seated in the most accessible area for your needs (generally at the back of Section 4, and in front of Fleet Steps). If you hold a companion card and would like to add a ticket to your order, please include this request in your email to us. Tickets are subject to availability at the time of booking. Book early to secure your seats.
