Wicked: For Good picks up where last year’s blockbuster first instalment left us, diving right back into the wonderful world of Oz. After challenging the Wizard’s totalitarian regime, Elphaba seeks refuge in the Ozian forest as she continues to fight for the freedom of the silenced Animals of Oz. Meanwhile, Glinda resides at the palace in the Emerald City assuming the role of the Wizard’s spokesperson and a glamorous symbol of Goodness for the nation. With turmoil afoot in Oz, the two estranged besties must reunite one final time. A friendship, once unexpected, becomes the force that ultimately defines their destinies and determines what they’re willing to do for a friend, and what they’re willing to do for good!
