One of our favourite indie films from the past year, SPLITSVILLE laughs out loud at our desire for love in a modern world. When out of the blue, Ashley (Arjona) asks Carey (Marvin) for a divorce, Carey is devo and runs for support to his old college buddy Paul (Covino) and his wife Julie (Dakota Johnson). But while staying with them, he’s shocked to discover that the secret to their happiness is an open marriage. One night while Paul is out, he’s even more shocked to find he and Julie testing that openness by falling into each other’s arms. From that point on, everything and everyone is hilariously thrown into chaos.
