Utterly hilarious and a ripping yarn, with just enough romance for it to qualify as a romcom, KNEECAP is one of our favourite films from the past year. It won the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival but then flew under the radar. It shouldn’t have because it’s a helluva ride. Set in west Belfast in 2019, it chronicles how fate brings ground-breaking Irish-language rap trio Kneecap together, and how they then go on to “change the sound of Irish music forever”. A film that will put a big smile on your face and a Friday night you’ll long remember.

“…ballsy, brave and one of the best music biopics ever made” – NME
“An audacious film that completely obliterates the expectations of the musical biopic genre.” – TheWrap
“Bursting with unruly energy that practically escapes the confines of the screen, Kneecap is a riotous, drug-laced triumph in the name of freedom that bridges political substance and crowd-pleasing entertainment.” – Variety

We are delighted to announce that NOT A DOCUMENTARY ABOUT JORTS will screen prior to KNEECAP.
