Now in its 28th year in Sydney, OpenAir has become a staple in the arts and culture calendar and a must do night out each summer.
Set against a backdrop that spans the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and city skyline, OpenAir creates unforgettable moments for all who attend .
Over the years we have hosted hundreds of thousands of guests, incredible events and film premieres including Danny Boyle for the premiere of Trainspotting T2, Nicole Kidman (Destroyer), Simon Baker (Breath), to name a few.

Located at Fleet Steps, Mrs Macquaries Point, our cinema is adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden and set within the historic and protected Farm Cove. Our incredible location and backdrop sets the scene for the world’s most beautiful cinema.

The giant cinema screen is hydraulically raised to stand three-storeys-high over Sydney Harbour. Dolby digital surround sound, 4k projection and comfortable seating for 1650 guests create a premium cinema experience.
