10 Things I Hate About You is one of the classic romcoms! Based on Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew, the story centres on new student Cameron (Joseph Gordon- Levitt), who falls for Bianca (Larisa Oleynik), but can only date her if her rebellious older sister, Kat (Julia Stiles), also has a date. To make this happen, Cameron and his friend Michael conspire to hire the school’s bad boy, Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger), to take Kat out. The plot unfolds through the characters’ interactions, culminating in a prom night confrontation and a final, heartwarming reconciliation.
