IMPORTANT TRANSPORT INFO FOR YOUR EVENT ON SATURDAY NIGHT 

From 8:00pm until approx. midnight Art Gallery Road will be closed to incoming traffic. This means no cars, including Taxis and Ubers, will be able to enter Art Gallery Rd/ Mrs Macquaries Rd after 8pm.

Depending on the activity of Domain concert goers, police may also elect to stop cars exiting via Mrs Macquaries Rd and Art Gallery Rd anytime from 10pm and Police will be managing and road closures and exits.

IN SUMMARY:

If arriving by foot from the city or St Mary’s, your access and egress will not be materially impacted, although remember you cannot exit the event back through the Gardens toward the Sydney Opera House after the film as these gates close 8pm.

Aim to arrive well before road closures commence at 8pm

Taxis and Ubers will not be able to access the event after 8pm, or at all after the film for pick up

If you intend to drive you will not be permitted to drive along Mrs Macquaries Rd from 8pm and if you were to park on Mrs Macquaries Road, you will likely be subject to long delays when exiting

For this reason we encourage you to either arrive and depart by public transport and foot, or if you must drive, to avoid lengthy delays, you are best parking in a parking station and walking between the event and the parking station.
